How to book accommodation?

1. You can choose the accommodation unit which will meet your needs and wishes best in two ways: 
* by yourself, using some of several search options of our website, or 
* contacting our Sales Department, that will offer you several facilities which meet your criteria best. 

2. During the search, you can click on the "My Favorites" button next to every unit which interests you. By clicking it, the chosen unit is saved in the virtual database (favorites) created by you which contains only those units that meet your criteria.
Your selection is saved, and you can access the database at any time, but only from the computer you used for the search if you did the search as an anonymous user. If you have searched our database as a registered user, you can access your Favorites list from any computer when logged in under your username.
3. Having formed your Favorites list, get a complete and detailed review of the chosen units by clicking "My favorites review" link. This systematic and comparative review will help you in finding an accommodation unit that meets all your criteria best. 
4. Upon making the final selection, you are required to fill in the reservation form for the chosen unit. It is necessary to fill in all the required information to process request. 
5. When the reservation form is sent, a calculation will be generated automatically with all items, respective costs and the amount to be paid for reserving the chosen accommodation unit. At the bottom of the calculation there will be two options: cancellation of the reservation or its confirmation. 
6. If you decide to confirm the reservation, the form will be sent to our Sales Department. Immediately upon the receipt of the reservation form, our staff will contact the facility owner to check whether the accommodation unit status on our website corresponds to the real status, i.e. whether the reservation is possible.
Upon the approval of the request, the pre-invoice will be sent to your e-mail address or by fax. In the pre-invoice all costs will be clearly stated, together with the amount that needs to be paid for reservation confirmation. The payment will be made according to the payment method and dynamics published on our webiste. 
7. For final confirmation, the reservation payment must be made within 24 hours upon the receipt of the final pre-invoice. If the payment is not made by the guest on the due date, it may result in overbooking. The agency does not bear responsibility for that, but the agency will offer an alternative accommodation of the same quality to the guest. 
8. Upon the payment is made, you have to send the confirmation to the agency by email (platby@vkostce.com) 
After the payment verification or your credit card authorization, you will receive an e-mail with all the relevant information on the facility owner and the facility address. Written confirmation will be sent to your e-mail. Received voucher is also a written proof that you have reserved accommodation on the Adriatic.

How to find appropriate accommodation?

In order to make your search of accommodation that suits you best easier and faster, we offer several ways of searching our database.

1. Simple search - In addition to determining the basic parameters (dates of your vacation, number of people, type of accommodation and location), the program will automatically generate all required conditions and show only those accommodation units which meet the chosen criteria.

2. Advanced search - You can use our advanced search for other criteria besides the ones offered in the simple search:
* General data (type of accommodation, number of people, dates and location) 
* Facility location (region, island-land, distance from the beach, locations with sand beaches etc.) 
* Accommodation type (luxury villas, pensions, facilities with a swimming pool etc.) 
* Unit position (ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor etc.)
* Additional offer (meals, pets, air condition, internet access etc.) 

3. Code search – Have a detailed look of a specific accommodation unit by entering the facility code into the given field. This type of search enables the fastest access to a facility, but you have to know the facility code. 

4. Geographical search - Find the accommodation in the location you prefer through our interactive map, i.e. region, riviera or place menu attached to the map.

5. Short period search – Since facility owner do not accept short period reservations very often, here you can find available short periods.

If no results match the chosen criteria, you can return to the previous step by clicking the "Back" button. All criteria will be saved. We recommend omitting the least important one and trying again.

If the advanced search results shows too many facilities meeting the criteria, you can return to the previous step by clicking the "Back" button and choose more additional criteria.

How can payment by instalment be realized?

Payment for the rental of the selected accommodation unit is split in two parts. The first part is paid in advance when making a reservation of the accommodation unit and the rest is paid house owner on the arrival day.

In some cases, depending on the contract type signed with the house owners, it is necessary to make the payment of the rest of the amount to the agency bank account no later than 30 – 45 days prior to the arrival of the guests.

The advance payment amount is 30 - 50% of total arrangement price, and the agency will transfer it to the house owner giro account when the payment settles.

In exceptional cases (such as short period reservation or reservation made by guests who need a visa to enter Croatia) it is necessary to pay full amount of the arrangement price immediately to confirm the reservation.

The guest will be informed about the amounts of the advance and rest of the payment in the pre-invoice.

If the guest wants an “R-1” invoice, it must be stated when making a reservation request.

What is due date for advance payment?

As part of the booking confirmation, the guest is obliged to make the booking payment within 24 hours of receiving the agency quote, and forward the payment confirmation to the agency. (Saturdays, Sundays and state holidays do not apply.) 
The deadline by which the agency is obliged to keep the demanded dates optioned (available to the guest) is listed on each quote, under "time of payment."
For 24 hours starting from the moment when the guest fills out and sends the booking request, the selected dates will be withdrawn from the market and the first option will belong to the guest who has made the booking request. The accommodation unit in question cannot be booked by anyone else in this time period. The dates in question will be highlighted in yellow on the agency's website.
If the booking payment is made and the payment confirmation forwarded to the agency before maturity, the booked dates will be highlighted in red, and no other booking even partly overlapping with the confirmed dates will be possible for the current season.
If the agency fails to receive the payment confirmation by the appointed deadline, the guest will be understood to have given up on the booking. After the deadline has expired, the booked dates will no longer be highlighted in yellow, but be marked as available - on a white background with no highlighting color.

How to send a confirmation of advance payment?

The booked dates will be highlighted in red when the confirmation is received. During the current season, no booking of the accommodation unit in question will be possible which would overlap even slightly with the confirmed booking. After the agency has received the funds (or after the card payment is made), all the information pertaining to the owner and address of the chosen accommodation unit will be sent to the guest's e-mail address.

When does the guest get information about the facility owner and the address of the reserved facility?

Immediately upon receiving the payment confirmation, or the approved authorization of the guest's credit card, the agency will forward all the important information about the accommodation to the guest. This information includes:
owner's full name 
accommodation unit address 
accommodation unit phone numbers 
full address of the owner (if it differs from the accommodation unit address) 
all the useful contact phone numbers (owner's phone number at home, work, cell phone and telefax number)
In case of a difficulty in finding the accommodation unit, the agency will send the guest an e-mail with the instructions of how to get to the reserved accommodation unit.

Should the guest contact the facility owner before leaving for vacation?

The best way of solving all the possible doubts and questions is by contacting the owner directly. However, we would like to mention that you are not required to contact the owner before going on your vacation, it is simply something you can do if necessary.

When does the guest receive a voucher (confirmation of the reserved service)?

When the payment is settled to our account or when credit card payment has been authorized we will e-mail you the voucher.

The voucher contains all information of the facility owner and the address of the reserved facility, as well as the remaining amount that has to be paid to the facility owner by the guest on the day of arrival at the accommodation facility. The voucher must be presented to the facility owner on the day of your arrival. After you pay the rest of the amount, the owner will give you the keys of the reserved accommodation unit.

If the remaining amount has to be settled to the agency account, we will e-mail you the voucher when the rest of the amount is credited to our account. The voucher must be presented to the facility owner on the day of your arrival and the owner will give you the keys of the reserved accommodation unit.
